Dark Factory Studio is the public identity behind darkfactory.studio and its intake chat. This page explains, in plain words, what information you can send us, why we use it, and how to ask about it or have it removed.
Contact for anything on this page: hello@darkfactory.studio (write the address into your own email client — we deliberately do not use clickable email links on this site).
What you can submit
When you use the intake chat or work with us on a sprint, you may share:
- Messages you type into the intake chat.
- Prototype links (for example a Lovable, Bolt, Base44, or Replit prototype).
- Project details such as your idea, target users, the workflow you want, and contact information you choose to share.
Only send what is needed to scope the project. Please do not paste passwords, secret keys, or other sensitive credentials into the chat.
Why we use it
We use what you submit for three purposes:
- Scope review — deciding honestly whether your idea fits a 24-hour Starter sprint, and narrowing it to one buildable slice.
- Delivery — building the MVP, preparing the Client Delivery Room, and assembling the delivery documentation.
- Communication — replying to you about scoping, payment, kickoff, and delivery.
Payment and contracting are handled manually before any paid work starts. The intake chat never auto-charges you, and submitting information does not create a paid engagement by itself.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data and we do not publish what you submit. Public demo material on this site uses staging examples, not client submissions, unless a client has explicitly agreed.
Third-party services
Like most small studios, we rely on third-party services that may process data on our behalf: hosting infrastructure, AI tooling used during scoping and build, communication tools (such as email), payment handling, and proof delivery (the Client Delivery Room and documentation downloads). We share only what those services need to do their job.
Retention and deletion
We keep intake and project information for as long as it is useful for scoping, delivery, and follow-up on your project. If you want to know what we hold about you, or want it corrected or deleted, email hello@darkfactory.studio and we will handle it manually.
